Growing up in the Bay Area Teddy's passion for music started at a very very young age when you could catch him playing old Hall & Oates records on his grandparents turntable, Breakdancing to old Egyptian Lover tracks and even jamming to old school freestyle jams by Trinere. He bought
his first piece of vinyl at the age of 13. It was the Egyptian Lovers self titled Egyptian Lover EP. Although he didn’t start spinning his first records until 10 years ago he finally bought his own equipment and began teaching himself the art of djing. After going through many genres of music he finally found one that he fell in love with— House Music! He quickly fell in love with how everybody was just in a different state of mind when dancing and grooving to this music called house… no fighting, no attitudes, just a common love and passion for the music.
He got his first break in 2001 being the resident dj for Blue Tattoo and then playing at smaller local bars and venues until Aqua Shi opened where he was finally able to showcase his talents every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. He teamed up with Fiberline Audio in 2005 and co-produced a weekly radio show called Tribal Fridays on Frisky Radio where his mixes could be heard streaming on the internet alongside world famous dj’s such as Afroboogie, DJ Fist, David Lara and many other International World Class dj’s. He eventually hooked up with Pure209 Founder and CEO Darrel Wilkins who quickly recognized Teddy’s potential and started booking him to play at bigger venues including Ruby Skye, Club Aura, 1015, Supperclub and others.
His style is unique and his ability to read a crowd is impeccable, he always puts forth his own attitude into each of his sets where he most definitely packs the floors! He has rocked many crowds alongside some of the worlds top talents in the Electronic Music Industry including, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Doc Martin, Richard Vission, Bad Boy Bill, Steve Smooth & JJ Flores, Lexicon Avenue, Dirty Vegas, The Flash Brothers, Ricky Stone, Serge Devant, Charles Feelgood, Scooter & Lavelle and many many others…
His production career started 5 years ago when he finally pieced together his home studio and started putting his own tracks together. He started a label called More Drums in 2006 and now has a couple of tracks out on Beatport. His own attitude is injected into every track he works on. In 2008 he collaborated with his good friend and fellow producer Dj Zya and put forth an electro stormer of a track that is also out on Beatport on the Direct Drive Digital Label. In 2010 He worked with Zya as well as Michael Badal and put out a track called "Deltree" which was signed to Tiesto's Record Label "Blackhole Recordings" and went on to be released in the ISOS Compilation as the first track on the 2nd cd. It continues to storm the beatport charts.
