Biography~
ObaJon was born in Burbank, California, but moved at age five to the San Francisco Bay Area. He was a fan of music from the beginning. Introduced to music by his brother, from metal to punk to new wave, but it was the electronic in the new wave that really stuck with him leading him down the path that he now follows. Three weeks following his first rave in Oakland, California, ObaJon decided to buy his first set of turntables. His early style, a mix of trance, house and techno, won him the title of Best Bay Area DJ, awarded by Live 105. Opening for Paul Oakenfold, Diesel Boy, X-Ecutioners and Thomas Trouble at BFD 2001 confirmed that he was on the right path. He has always marched to his own drum and continues to stay cutting edge.
